Immersive artwork displaying power tools, DC motors, and pulleys interacting with rubber ducks, programmed with Arduino.
“quack” is a sound and visual experience that places the familiar in the unknown. The installation combines common industrial objects and simple materials to create a group of machines that move rubber ducks through a space. Taking inspiration from Jean Piere Gauthier and Zimoun, this kinetic installation is a product of playing around for hours with objects to find their sonic potential. The result is a combination of jarring visuals and eerie sound that keeps viewers engaged in an ominous daze.
